In the park, at the central square of Stavros Village, admire the bust of Ulysses. Imperious and grim, after 20 years in exile, as imagined by the artist, track today around him. In front of the portrait, read “Ulysses vow” attributed to “prayer to Odysseus.” It comes from an inscription found in fragment during the archaeological excavation at Cave Loizou City. The fragment was part of clay female bust (2nd-1st century. P. X.) And is considered the most important findings in Ithaca, and proves that Odysseus was worshiped here for many years.
